Double Deep Racking Systems
Increases storage density compared to selective racking
Load weights and height limited to forklift capacity
Suitable for high turnover stock where restricted access is not a problem.
Where batch sizes permit greater density of storage, Double Deep Racking offers a cost effective method of bulk storage. Pallets are stored two-deep, cutting the number of access aisles by about half in any given area. Placing and retrieving pallets from the second slot in the racks requires a forklift fitted with a Double Deep Reach Mechanism.
